Dear darling friends,
The lovely Miss Owen and I are planning a six week trip around Europe. Unfortunately, we are both exceptionally poor and are shamelessly going to beg you for money. Anything you can spare, a pound, 20p, an old shoe - we'll take anything!!
If we can get a few pence of each off you it might buy us dinner for a few days while we're out there. If you wish, send us your home address and we'll send you a fabulous postcard from wherever we end up :)
